In Assessment Writer, when a teacher clicks on the "Update" button to update results into the central database, the following error message may be displayed:

TCP Error - Authoritative answer, host not found

This error is caused by a DNS resolution problem with the school computer network whereby the computer name is not being correctly resolved. To resolve the problem:

In Assessment Writer, click on File --> Options --> Update tab. In the "Update Server located at" box, type the IP address of the Update Server computer e.g (instead of the computer name of the Update Server computer). Click on OK and then try updating the results.
