In Central Reporting System, when Building Subject Report Parameters, error 5096 is displayed.

This error may also occur when printing reports.

This error occurs when the computer being used does not have full access to the templates folder.

Resolution:

In both of the above scenarios, the solution is the same; you must elevate the privileges of the computer in use to have full access to the template folder.

Alternatively, as a work around, if nobody with the relevant credentials to elevate privileges is available, you may copy the templates onto the local drive of the computer in use.  eg. Copy the templates to the "Documents" folder on the C:\ Drive.
